The room of a creative person should not be boring and ordinary, moreover, it is good if it is fully consistent with the inner world of its resident, relaxes, and inspires at the same time.
Usually working on such projects, designers follow certain rules, use bedding shades, and bright colors are used to set accents. When creating the design, do not forget about comfort, which is as important as appearance.
Choosing a style for the bedroom
Uninhibited and extravagant personalities will not remain indifferent to the boho style, bohemian interior, and eclecticism. Restrained and balanced people should look at the neoclassical and art deco.
- Boho style. One of the most popular styles in recent years demonstrates the bright character and individuality of homeowners. Its design uses bright colors and intricate patterns. Particular attention is paid to details that create an atmosphere of comfort and coziness.
- Eclectic. This style is characterized by a combination of different styles and trends. The decoration in colors, unusual furniture, and bright decorative objects – all these create a harmonious and unique design.
- Bohemian style. The interior designed in a bohemian style demonstrates the refined taste of the owners of the house. Numerous decorative elements, luxurious furniture, and chandeliers with monograms make the bedroom cozy and comfortable. This style is characterized by simplicity, functionality, and restraint in detail. The atmosphere of the neoclassical bedroom sets for relaxation and quiet time.
- Art Deco style. Art Deco style is characterized by soft flowing lines, visible in the decoration, furnishings, and other details. When decorating the room, designers give preference to neutral shades.
As you can see, for some styles the popular bed will do, for the choosing furniture should be more thoughtful.
The color solution for the bedroom
The choice of shades for the design of the bedroom largely depends on the stylistic direction of the interior. However, it is important to remember that a bedroom is a place where a person relaxes and gains strength, so it should be designed in calm shades. To make the room set the mood, without seeming ordinary and boring, it is advisable to use several color accents.
The bedroom of a creative person is ideal: white, gray, beige, and gold, en hues. They are in harmony with many colors, allowing you to create a unique environment. Do not be limited to monochrome interior options, you can always add bright colors and contrasting shades. Working with color, it’s important to remember the following rules:
All colors within one interior must belong to a single temperature range of warm or cold shades. If a dark saturated color is taken as the basis, it must be combined with lighter, pastel tones. Using neutral shades, the interior is balanced by bright and contrasting elements.
Furniture for the bedroom of a creative person
When selecting furniture for the bedroom, most people are guided by considerations of practicality and functionality. Creative people put the aesthetic component in the first place. No matter whether it is a set, bed, or bedside table, each piece of furniture should be an integral part of the interior, and its decoration.
Particular attention should be paid to decorations. They set the mood and create the character, making the design of the room unique. A creative bedroom looks harmonious with sly art objects, candlesticks, mirrors, lamps, books in beautiful bindings, and other accessories.
Sometimes creative people choose non-standard bed shapes. These can be bunk beds, round beds, or folding beds. Quality sleep is very useful for such people. It is important to choose the right mattress for each bed. Experts recommend paying special attention to mattresses for round beds(https://mattresstree.com/best-mattresses/for-a-round-bed/).
When decorating an interior the creative person should not be afraid to experiment, on the contrary, think broadly, expanding the boundaries of the usual. The standard situation has an oppressive effect on these people, it is important to demonstrate their freedom, not only the creativity but also in the environment in which they live.
Windows in the bedroom interior
Very often when entering a room, the eye is drawn to the window. Windows can tell you a lot about a lot of things. Not only do they indicate what is going on outside the home, but they also say a lot about the person who lives within those windows. Curtains not only decorate windows, but they also help shelter from the sun’s rays. The bustle of the outside world becomes inaccessible. When choosing the fabric for curtains in the interior of the bedroom you should remember that a bedroom is a place where the body and the soul retreat, so you should not choose too bright colors or heavy lambrequins. Soft calm pastel colors will be more appropriate for the bedroom. As an option, you can consider curtains with a discreet pattern, which will be in harmony with the interior of the room itself. It is worth recalling that the design of the windows should correspond to their shape and size. With the help of curtains, you can visually change both the shape and size of the window. For example, horizontal blinds or Roman blinds can perfectly increase the size of small windows. Larger windows are better dressed up in long outfits, because the height of the curtains only to the window sill distorts the size of the windows, making them indistinct.
